Benbrook Paver Walkway & Side-Yard Hardscape

Side yards are one of the most overlooked spaces in a suburban home — and one of the most aggravating when they are just bare soil that turns to mud every time it rains. A homeowner in Benbrook had exactly that situation: a narrow path from the driveway to the back gate that became unusable for days after any rain.

We installed a concrete paver walkway the full length of the side yard, set on a properly compacted base with a slight cross-slope so water drains off the surface rather than pooling on it. The pavers are a neutral tone that reads clean against the house without competing with anything.
